Our team of customer advocates, architects and project managers will set you on the right path. We’ll translate your unique vision into a full design, establish your project budget, analyze prospective lots, assist you in choosing the best home site and identify ways to avoid potential extra costs.
Designing Your Custom Home
Whether you start with a design from our Portfolio Collection or choose our Design-Build service, we’ll tailor our process and your home plans to best match your needs.
PORTFOLIO HOME
We offer a variety of stylish and contemporary designs in a myriad of sizes and floor plans. Whether you need a narrow house on a small lot or an expansive stately home, our designs will maximize your available space and optimize available natural lighting. Similarly, our team can modify the design to fit your needs and your budget.

DESIGN SERVICE
We’ll take your unique vision and turn it into a one-of-a-kind custom home that showcases your personality and style, including a personalized exterior elevation and the perfect floor plan for your family.
- Meet with our architects to review your needs, style, design, and inspiration.
- Expand on your ideas in regular meetings with your project manager, architect and interior designer.
- Develop the project budget and related scopes and specifications for your unique touches and add-ons.
Kicking Off the Project
While you’re finalizing your home site purchase and financing, our architects will start creating plans, and our project managers and pre-production team will prepare permit applications and purchase orders for construction supplies. At your orientation meeting, you’ll meet with our team, review the next steps and set appointments to meet our designers at appropriate showrooms.
Construction
At a pre-construction meeting, you’ll meet the team that will be on site every day—rain or shine—building your custom home. We’ll keep you informed of our progress with weekly updates through BuilderTrend, our online portal. Plus, we’ll arrange pre-scheduled on-site meetings with your Classic Homes representative in order for you to closely monitor the progress of your build.
Quality Control
Our Quality Control program includes multiple inspections. Our Warranty Team will complete a walk-through 90 days after you move into your new home and again at 11 months to address any minor repairs. Rest assured that even after your warranty ends, the Classic Homes team will continue to be available to help in any way we can.
