Accessible Designs for Today or Tomorrow

As more people choose to age in place, many of our clients have decided to incorporate accessibility features into the design of their homes. Provisions such as these allow homeowners to host guests with mobility issues and afford a level of safety for themselves as they face physical challenges.

Later, these features become major selling points, raising both the value of—and the demand for—the properties. In addition, Montgomery County residents who make these adaptations reap tax rebates through the County’s “Design for Life” program.

Design For Life

We offer ALL of our clients the “Design for Life” program, originally created by Montgomery County for its residents. With our carefully considered floorplans and the “Design for Life” package, your home can qualify for the highest standard: Level II – “LIVEable” which is achieved by including such accommodations as safety rails, elevators and wheelchair-friendly kitchens.
