Discuss your overall budget with our Sales Team, and choose one of our Preferred Lenders to offer you complete financing options for your new home. We work with well-known established institutions such as Sandy Spring Bank, Fulton Mortgage Co, and more. Apply for your loan and close within just 30 days.
Find a Place for Your Home
If you don’t already own a lot, our Sales Team will be able to guide you in your property search. Use our online tools, or work with one of our recommended brokers to assist you. Once you’ve identified a potential lot, our Production Team will review the property, ensuring that it’s buildable, and estimating site work costs.
Making Your Dream Home a Reality
Once you’ve established the financing and location of your new home, the real fun begins. It’s time to purchase your home, settle on your lot and financing, finalize your plans and make your selections. We’ll handle the rest!
1. Purchasing and Designing Your New Home
Our Sales Team will finalize the details of the home that you’ve discussed earlier in the process, and produce a contract for you to review with your lender. Your contract will contain a detailed description of your home, including all of the options you have selected.
We will coordinate your plan changes with our architects, who will add the finishing touches so that we can create the perfect home for you. If your dream home requires more specialized customization, you will be connected with local award winning architects, such as Carib Daniels Martin, for a full Design Build experience.
We will begin working with the Civil Engineer on the lot development process at this time. Our Pre-Production Team will also be notified to begin working on the applications for permits and utilities as soon as the contract is ratified.
Make selections through our virtual portal and at our Design Center. Customers may also consult with professional designers in our vendor’s showrooms. Choose your cabinets, appliances, exterior material colors, etc. You may also wish to visit our vendor’s showrooms for additional samples.
3. Start of Construction
Once we have your permits and approved site plan, it’s time to break ground! You will meet the team that will be building your home at your Pre-Construction Meeting. Your team will go over your plans, and answer any questions you may have. Rain or shine, your team will be on site making your dream home a reality. You’ll be able to monitor the progress of your home through weekly updates and our online portal.
4. Move-In, Quality Control and Beyond
Our Quality Control program is designed with multiple inspections, ensuring the highest quality home for you and your family. Our Warranty Team is available to help with any concerns, and will be walking your home with you at 90 days and 11 months after delivery to address any minor repairs.
