Better Materials

  • We use LP TopNotch 350 sub-flooring (vs. oriented strand board—or OSB). The superior product’s 50-year warranty ensures you’re always walking on level ground.

  • All sheathing is OSB for the rigidity, security and insulative power you should expect from your home.
  • We pour rebar-reinforced structural concrete foundations, creating monolithic structural walls that are easily waterproofed, have no gaps or joints and and won’t settle and crack.

  • Our flooring systems are created from structurally engineered lumber making your floors sturdier and unlikely to squeak or bounce.
  • Our engineered roof trusses are built using Simplex Strong Tie hurricane clips in several locations to resist uplift and lateral forces from severe storms.

  • We use engineered parallams and PSLs instead of 2x4 studs to support beams and long headers, creating a stronger, longer-lasting home.

“They have been proactive about the 11 month walk through so they can fix whatever occurs from settlement over the past year. I am happy we worked with a company that still respects quality work and communication. I think this was a great value overall and would use them to build again.”

“I love our home today as much as I did the day we moved into it! It’s been 18 months, and I am still very impressed with the quality of the construction and the way the space fits our growing family perfectly. ”

Better Construction

  • Our homes are “stick-built“ to match your specifications and the conditions in the field. We never use factory pre-fab or “panelized construction”.

  • All sub-flooring is glued and nailed to the flooring system, using screws where hardwood or tile will be laid to help eliminate cracks and squeaks.
  • We go beyond county codes, installing draintile on the inside and outside of the foundation, with enough sleeve interconnections to ensure drainage even when partially blocked.

  • Our exterior walls are framed with 2” x 6” studs, allowing for a stronger structure that exceeds code requirements, and a stiffer frame less susceptible to extreme weather.
  • Aided by periodic visits from our vice president of operations, your superintendent is continually overseeing and inspecting your home's construction to ensure our standards are met.

  • Even when it is not required, we use steel reinforcement in all of our concrete foundations and footers. When it is required, we use a significantly larger quantity than needed.

Quality Assurance
